Frances was born on August 28, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois to Edwin A. and Louise (Wiggenhorn) Fricke. She graduated from Brownelle Hall in Omaha, NE. Frances married John Kiertzner on August 4, 1957 at her parent's home in Ashland, NE. They moved to Holstein in 1960.
Frances loved being involved with whatever her children, her granddaughters and her great-granddaughter did. She was a member of PEO, and Chapter CB, in Ida Grove, IA. She enjoyed dancing, attending polka fests, and spending her summers at the lake in Alexandria, MN.
Surviving Frances are her children, Chris Kiertzner of Hostein and Anne Blaise of Holstein; granddaughters, Cherie and Megan Blaise of Holstein; great-granddaughter Emma Frahm of Holstein; sister-in-law, Martha C. Fricke of Ashland, NE; and nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; her brother, Robert H. Fricke in 2004; and her faithful companion, Cleo, her dog.
Frances was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
