My (SLFERGUS) G-Grandma, Helen Therese Mathilde Mantel was born on December 25, 1902 in Lawson, North Dakota to Andrew John Mantel and Marie Stoye, both of Germany. She was the oldest of their 5 kids. She married Orris Leon Foster Sr. of Minnesota on 12 Jul 1921 in Lakota, Nelson, North Dakota, and they had three children. She died on October 17, 1986 in Loma Linda, California. I have her infant baptism certificate in German and her death certificate.
