Mrs. Connelly, widow of Dove P. Connelly, died Tuesday, January 2, 2001, in Manor Care, Lexington.
Born in Prosperity, she was a daughter of the late Newton Arthur and Martha Sease Nichols.
She was a homemaker and a member of Zion United Methodist Church where she formerly served as a Sunday School teacher, choir member, MYF counselor, Administrative Board member and local and district offices of the United Methodist Woman.
Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Drucie and Eugene Eaddy of Greenwood, Jewel and English Pearcy of West Columbia; sisters, Sadie N. Felker, Dorothy N. Counts, both of Newberry; grandchildren and their spouses, Laura F. and Peter Horlbeck, English C. and Cindy Pearcy, Mary P. and Alan Russell; great grandchildren, Gene and Mary Dove Horlbeck, Joshua and Caitlin Russell, Hannah and Rachel Pearcy, Laura Margaret Burbach.
She was predeceased by a sister, Ruby Dominick; brothers, Emmett Nichols, Cecil Nichols, J. S. Nichols; great grandson, Michael Patrick Burbach.
