Parents - Roscoe & Julia (Harden) Bertrand
His family moved to Sheridan when he was an infant. During his adult years he worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps as a reforester. He served in the U.S. Navy. He owned and operated a Texaco Station on Main St.; Glen's Trailer Court on N. Main and Trailer Village on S. Sheridan Ave. His last employment was driving truck for Decker Coal where he retired. Glen was an avid outdoorsman and 50 year member of Elks Lodge #520. He was proud of having the first social security number issued in Sheridan County.

Preceded in death by his first wife Ida Barber, second wife Pauline Eckerman Brohard and son William Bertrand.
