Millie was 92 when she passed away at Divine Savior Hospital. Born on the Breneman family farm near Pardeeville to Fred Marshall Breneman & Harriet Augusta Inglis.
She married William Wopat on Sept. 23, 1941. They had a son and daughter.
In 1945, Millie and her husband purchased and established Bill's Garage, a popular implement dealership and repair service north of Pardeeville, which they operated for more than 45 years.
Millie was a member of Outreach Bible Church in Portage. She volunteered for many years at Divine Savior Hospital and the Pardeeville Nutrition Site. Millie loved playing the organ and shared that talent with a small band while wintering in Florida. Visiting with friends, tending her flowers, and cuddling her little poodle brought her special joy.
Mildred leaves behind her son and his wife, six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, six sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; daughter, Ruth Ann Holmes; and two brothers, Glen and Lloyd Breneman.
Funeral services were held at Smith Funeral Home in Pardeeville. Pastor Darren Smalley presided. Burial wfollowed in the Marcellon Cemetery.
