Mrs. Ott died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002, at Eudora Nursing Center.
She was born Jan. 20, 1918, in Ottawa, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Lindquist) Carlson. She had lived in Eudora most of her life.
Mrs. Ott was a homemaker and a teacher at Bird City, Eudora and Sunflower schools. She earned an education degree at Ottawa University.
She was a member of Eudora United Methodist Church and its women's circle, 1900 & Now Club, Eudora Historical Society and Extension Group, all in Eudora.
She married Arden Ott on June 12, 1943. He died Dec. 28, 1986.
Survivors include two sons, Allan Ott, Eudora, and Larry Ott, Cincinnati; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A son, Jerry Ott, died earlier.
