Josephine Wilson Boyington, widow of World War II Marine Corps "Flying Tiger" Col. Gregory "Pappy" Boyington, died Sunday. She was 64.
Mrs. Boyington was an active member of Los Ninos Guild for Valley Children's Hospital and a member of Community Hospital's Service Alliance.
She was a 1949 graduate of Stanford University and later was a member of the Stanford Alumni Association as well as the Daughters of the American Revolution .
She was a member of the board of directors of the Constance Bultman Wilson Foundation of Los Angeles which supports research, educational and cultural programs for adolescents. She also served as chairwoman of the grants committee for the foundation.
Mr. Boyington died in 1988. They married in 1975.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at St. Columba Episcopal Church.
Surviving are two sons, Steven and Robert Moseman of Palo Cedro; a brother, Dr. Robert Wilson of Los Angeles; and four grandchildren.
