Mrs. Sarah C. Daube, wife of George Daube of this city, died of heart disease at her home at 8:30 o'clock last night. Funeral services will be conducted at the Marks Weber Funeral Home at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, thence to the Trinity Lutheran Church at 2:30, Rev. E.W. Jahn, pastor, in charge. Interment will be made at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
Born at Chester on February 8, 1860, Mrs. Daube was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Knap. She was reared and attended school there. Thirty-three years ago she was united in marriage with Mr. Daube at St. Louis and the family took up residence on a farm northeast of Edwardsville, later moving to Edwardsville. Mrs. Daube was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lillie Bueckman, Chattanooga, Tenn.
