Father: Gottlieb Winterholler
Carl Winterholler, 77, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 1978 in the North Big Horn Hospital of cancer. He was born Oct. 8, 1900 in Unterwalton, Russia, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gottlieb Winterholler. He came to the U.S. as a young man and had lived in Lovell for the past 60 years. He was part owner of the Highland Grocery Store until his retirement. He married Alvina Wagner May 18, 1918 in Lovell, Wyoming. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Lovell. He is survived by his wife, Alvina; two sons, Fred of Gillette, Wyoming and Victor of Lovell; two daughters, Christena Winterholler of Billings, Montana and Selma Evans of Lovell; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. in St. John's Lutheran Church with Reverend Eldon Bahn officiating. Burial will be in the Lovell Cemetery. Haskell Funeral Home of Lovell is in charge of arrangements.
