Jennie W. "Jane" Collings, 72, of Tarentum, died Friday, July 3, 2009, in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. She was born Feb. 8, 1937, in Natrona, daughter of the late Marcel and Helen (Turowski) Gaworski, and was a lifelong resident of the local area. Mrs. Collings worked in the packing department for West Penn Hat & Cap and Weleski Transfer, Tarentum. She was a member of Holy Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Tarentum. She was active with Dalton's Edge apartment complex where she resided and also enjoyed bingo, playing cards, casinos and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her two daughters, Bonnie (Mark Kuniak) Collings, of Natrona Heights, and Kathy (James) Mazary, of Lower Burrell; four grandchildren, Teresa Collings, Jimmy, Missy and Corey Mazary; two brothers, Edward (Ann) Gaworski, of Natrona Heights, and Ted Gaworski, of Lower Burrell; two sisters, Irene Kesler, of Vandergrift, and Marcy Scalise, of New Kensington; sister-in-law, Evie Gaworski, of Natrona Heights; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. "Bill" Collings Jr.; brother, Alfred Fritz Gaworski; and sister, Dorothy Sullivan. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, where a blessing service will be conducted at 12:15 p.m. Monday followed by Christian Funeral Mass at 1 p.m. in Holy Martyrs Parish by the Rev. Aaron J. Kriss. Burial will follow in Mt. Airy Cemetery.
