Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Friday, August 12, 2005 at St. Wendelin's Catholic Church, Luxemburg for Olivia "Ollie" B. Lommel who died at St. Benedict's Senior Community. Rev. Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Burial will be in the Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud.
Friends may call from 4-8 PM Thursday, August 11th at the Williams Funeral Home, St. Cloud and one before services at the St. Wendelin's Parish Center. Parish Prayers will be at 6:30 PM Thursday at the Williams Funeral Home.
Olivia was born to the late Henry and Julia (Scheeler) Bichler in Maine Prairie Township, Stearns County, MN. She married Leo J. Lommel, June 21, 1927 at St. Mary's Cathedral, St. Cloud, MN. Olivia lived most of her life in St. Cloud and then moved to Luxemburg. She enjoyed her home, family, gardening, quilting and knitting.
Survivors include her children: Richard (Gerry), St. Cloud; Jim (Shirley), Nisswa; LeRoy (Bert), St. Cloud; Wayne (Jan), St. Cloud; Son-in-Law John James, St. Cloud; twenty six grandchildren; fifty three great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Feb. 4, 1994; daughter Ione James Feb. 15,1990; Dolores Hoffman, May 10, 1967; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
