Jacqueline J. Crow, 72, of Elyria, Ohio, died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2002, in her home at Elyria United Methodist Village.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Chapel of the Elyria United Methodist Village, with the Rev. Beth McKee officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.
Memorial contributions may be made to Elyria United Methodist Village.
Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Elyria is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Crow was born Aug. 27, 1930, in Fairfield, the daughter of Paul and Christine Haney.
She graduated from Fairfield High School in 1948. She graduated from University of Iowa School of Nursing as a registered nurse in 1951.
She lived in St. Louis, Mo.; Lynhurst, Ohio; Glen Ellyn, Ill.; Bay Village, Westlake and Lorain, Ohio, before moving to Elyria in 1998
Mrs. Crow was employed at nursing homes in Illinois and then at Lutheran Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, from 1985 until she retired in 1992.
She enjoyed reading, arts and crafts, painting, traveling and camping.
Survivors include three daughters, Christie Vargo of Lorain, Ohio, Barbara Crow of Duluth, Minn., and Deborah Crow of Las Cruces, N.M.; one son, Brian Crow of Columbus, Ohio; two grandchildren; and one sister, Judith Freudenberg of Minneapolis, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two grandsons.
