Died July 24, 2009 at Superior Woods Healthcare, with her children by her side. She was 91 yrs young, born December 6, 1917 to Eugene and Drucilla (Clark) Wright in Frog Jump, Tennessee. On September 12, 1940, she married Richard Dapprich (her loving husband of 66 years) and he preceded her in death in 2007. She was an original Rosie the Riveter at the Willow Run Bomber Plant, then worked 42 years for the University of Michigan. She loved making quilts and butterflies for family and friends. She was a member of the Ypsilanti Women of the Moose #286 and Ypsilanti Township Senior Center. Louise is survived by her children, Judy (Jerry Anderson) Lester and Daniel(Patty) Dapprich; eight grandchildren Kelly (Brenda) Dapprich, Terry (Kelly Lynn) Dapprich, Scott (Kelly) Lester, Jennifer (Glenn) Wheeler, Cheri (Robert) Dickinson, Sherry (Al) Scott, Melanie (Jeff) Walker, and Robbie Branch; 13 great- grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers James (Iris) and Robert Wright; her daughter-in-law, Patricia Branch; and brother-in-law Bill (Arlene) Dapprich; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Gary; grandson Jimmy Lester; her sister, La Vern Nichols; and her brothers, Nash, Jack and Jerry Wright. Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, 2 p.m. at Stark Funeral Service, Moore Memorial Chapel with Pastor Donald Viers officiating.Burial will follow in the Union-Udell Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Arbor Hospice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home, where family will greet friends on Sunday and Monday from 6-9 p.m.
