Former Perry County man died in St. Louis December 30
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Immanuel Lutheran Church here for Conrad Weith, 91 year-old former Perry Countian who died in St. Louis on Tuesday, December 23.
Mr. Weith had been making his home with a daughter, Mrs. Dora Bienlein,in St. Louis. He became seriously ill on December 22 and was taken to a hospital, where he died a 6:0 o'clock the morning of December 23. The body was brought to Perryville and was in state at Young and Sons Chapel until the hour of the funeral, at 1:45 P. M. last Friday.
The services at Immanuel Lutheran Church were in charge of Rev. Rolfing, pastor of Peace Lutheran Church at Friedenberg. Burial was made in Friedenburg Cemetery.
Mr. Weith was born in Perry Countian 1861. He was married twice, the first time, on May 8, 1892 to Miss Barbara Stuebinger. Following her death, he was married to Susie Heise, on October 23, 1902. She also preceded Mr. Weith in death.
Besides Mrs. Bienlein, he is survived by four daughters; Martha, Augusta, and Ester, children of the first marriage, and Loretta, a daughter of his second marriage. Mrs. Bienlein was also of the first marriage.
