SENECA--Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church here for Mrs. Mary Haug, 72, Seneca, who died here Thursday in a hospital, where she had been a patient since March 2.
She was born Jan. 25, 1899, five miles north of Seneca and spent her life in Nemaha County. She lived in the St. Benedict community northwest of Seneca many years before she moved into Seneca in Dec. 1970.
She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at Seneca and St. Ann's Altar Society at the church.
She was married to William Haug April 13, 1921, He survives.
Other survivors include three sons: Lambert Haug, Abilene, Ernest Haug, Seneca, and William Haug Jr., 5945 N.W. Brickyard Rd., Topeka; three daughters, Mrs. Florence Hulsing, Baileyville, Mrs. Bernice Nordhus and Mrs. Patricia Stallbumer, both of Seneca; and her mother, Mrs. Frank Haverkamp Sr., Seneca.
Also surviving are six brothers: George Haverkamp, Edwin Haverkamp, Joseph Haverkamp and Alphonse Haverkamp, all of Seneca; Lawrence Haverkamp, Kelly, and Frank Haverkamp Jr., Goff; five sisters: Mrs. Anna Boeding, Goff, Mrs. Ferdinand Steinlage and Mrs. William Steinlage, both of Corning, Mrs. Raymond Bergman, Seneca, and Mrs. Fred Holthaus, Centralia; 44 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery at Seneca. Roaries will be recited at 8 p. m. Saturday and Sunday at Lauer Funeral Home at Seneca.
