Henry Deiterman, born on February 12, 1878, St. Martinsville, Texas; Baptized: March 3, 1878, St. Martin's Church; Parents: John Deiterman and Josephine Hatke; Sponsors: Wenceslaus Mashek and Mary Anna Pruemer.

He died some time before 1880. He was not listed on the 1880 U.S. Federal Census.

The tombstone on Henry Deiterman's grave has his name spelled Detterman, however Henry's name was never spelled that way. Henry's father, John Dahlmann Deiterman, died in about 1884. John's wife, Josephine, changed the spelling to Detterman some time after 1900. (I believe this tombstone was placed on the grave in the 1990s. It is unknown to me who had the tombstone placed.)
