Edward Walter Kruse
GALVA- Edward Walter Kruse, 84, died April 5, 1994, at the Boone Health Center,Columbia Mo.
He was born July 20, 1909 at rural Galva. the son of Karl and Augusta Klatt Kruse. A lifetime resident of rural Galva, he was a farmer.
He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, McPherson.
On May 16, 1936, he married Esther Eidse. She died Feb. 13, 1969. On Dec. 29, 1971, he married Mary Borth Esau. She died May 20, 1992.
Survivors include; two sons, Thomas Kruse, Millersville, Pa., and Richard Kruse, Wichita; a daughter Nola Unruh, Clay Center; a stepson, Maynard Esau, McPherson; two step daughters, Jeanne Hapgood, McPherson, and Joyce Gordon, Columbia, Mo.; two sisters, Annie Freeburg and Edna Smylie, both of McPherson.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Grace Lutheran Church, McPherson, with the Rev. Dwight Goering presiding. Burial will be in the Emmanuel Church Cemetery.
