Funeral for James Thomas "Tom" Pitt, 64, of Decatur will be Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Brock and the Rev. Tommy Turner officiating.

Burial will be in Caddo Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Pitt died Thursday, Sept. 30, 2004, at SunBridge Care & Rehabilitation for Decatur. He was born June 4, 1940, in Lawrence County to William Edgar Pitt and Nona Lancaster Pitt.

Survivors include two daughters, Elisa Powell and her husband Butler, and Rhonda Hall, all of Trinity; two sisters, Joy Murphy and her husband Charles of Trinity, and Annie Mears and her husband J.C. of Decatur; one brother, Gerald Pitt of Trinity; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
