Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Wednesday, August 5, at Crowville Masonic Cemetery in Crowville, LA, with Pastor Gary Henneke and Minister Bruce Lewis officiating under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro, LA.
Rose was born in Mangham, Louisiana, to Nickolas and Rosa Piro on November 25, 1918, and attended high school in Winnsboro, Louisiana, where she married Albert Moyers on December 7, 1944. Mrs. Moyers was a homemaker and a longtime member of Ninth and Elm Church of Christ in Orange, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Moyers.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Long of Abilene; sons, Roger R. Moyers and wife, Annette, of Columbus, Texas, and Thomas H. Moyers and wife, Elederna, of Beaumont; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Derrick Long, Bryan Moyers, Mike Moyers, and William Moyers.
