Keli Jenea (Gehrs) Borchert, 42, of Excelsior Springs MO passed away Friday August 7 2009 at her home.

Born June 23 1967 in Kansas City MO, she was the daughter of Kenneth Ray and JoAnn (Svejda) Gehrs. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are daughter Darcie Smith of Excelsior Springs; sister Kim Ashworth of Excelsior Springs; 2 brothers, Mark Gehrs of San Antonio TX and Mike Gehrs of CA; niece Jessica Ashworth of Excelsior Springs, and nephew Jacob Ashworth of Liberty MO.

Keli attended public schools in Excelsior Springs. Following her education she worked in various employments and had worked at Home Depot in Liberty MO selling Trane Systems until her health failed. She was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Church in Excelsior Springs and enjoyed music and making photo collages.

Memorial service: Thursday August 13 2009 at 6pm at Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs.
Visitation follows until 8pm. Cremation.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials to Keli's daughter, Darcie Smith to be used for her benefit.
