Mary Helen Hutson, age 79, of Church Hill passed away Friday, August 14, 2009 at the Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital & Medical Center following an extended illness.

Mrs. Hutson was a lifelong resident of Church Hill and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Hutson, Parents, Charlie and Hazel Cox Marshall, Grandson, Eric Lane, Brothers, Kelsie and John Marshall and Son-in-law, Ronald Lawson.

Survivors include, Daughters and son-in-laws, Joyce Lawson Noto and Thad Noto of Gray, Rachel and Gary Lane of Kingsport. Son and daughter-in-law, Clay and Brenda Hutson of Kingsport. Grandchildren, Sherry Hutson Moore, Josh Lawson and wife, Amy, Anita Hutson Jantz , Joy Dykes and husband, Travis and Nathan Lane. Great Grandchildren, Tenea Roberts, Ryne Lawson, Gabriel Moore, Laiken Lawson, Jessica Jantz and Erika Jantz. Step Grandchildren, Emily Camargo and husband, Billy, Mary Beth Noto - Gilroy and husband, Tim, and Sara Noto - Phillips and husband Garrison. Step Great Grandchildren, Eric Moore, Katrina Moore , Dillon Jantz and Kaitlyn Brannon .Step great great grandchild, Lilian Moore. Sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Larry Rogers of Kingsport, Brothers and sister-in-laws, Ken and Tina Marshall and Tom and Brenda Marshall of Mount Carmel. Sister-in-laws, Carol Marshall, Elmira Marshall and Dorothy Smith. several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are from 5 to 7 pm Sunday at the Johnson Funeral Home and anytime at the residence of her son, Clay Hutson, 115 Lindkay Dr., Kingsport, Tn..

Funeral services will be conducted 7 pm Sunday at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Marlin Jaynes, Minister Thad Noto and Bro. Larry Rogers officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted 11 am Monday at the Old Union Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Ryne Lawson, Nathan Lane, Brian Rogers, Jeff Rogers, Tony Marshall, Aaron Marshall, and Travis Dykes.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Marshall and Josh Lawson.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff on the 3rd floor of Wilcox Hall at the Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital and Medical Center .
