Frank J. Kippes, a retired piano tuner, died at 3 a.m. Wednesday [September 6, 1961] at the home of his foster daughter, Mrs. Catherine Conder, 6347 Hunters Grove Road. Kippes, who celebrated his 83rd birthday three days ago, retired only a year ago. He formerly lived at 2242 Garland. Survivors include three brothers, Andrew, Edward & John Kippes. The funeral will be Friday at 8:30 a.m. from the Herbold & Horlander Funeral Home, 1935 W. Broadway, at 9 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
