IRA CADWALLADER

Ira Cadwallader, 70, prominent farmer of the Danville community, died at his home there Sunday about 1 A.M. He had lived his entire life in that neighborhood. He was a member of the Danvile Church of Christ, serving for many years as a deacon.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 P.M. at the Danville Church of Christ, with Rev. Jack Monts De Oca officiating. Burial will be in Hamer Township cemetery under direction of Buntain & Rhoads funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Nannie Wilkin Cadwallader; nine children, Mrs. Paul Dolphin of Wilmington, Mrs. Edgar Bloom of Hillsboro, Windsor Cadwallader of Williamsburg, Roy Cadwallader of Blanchester, Hugh and Dale Cadwallader, at home. Mrs. Hugh Vance of Wilmington, Mrs. John Dunn of Wilmington, Mrs Russell Faris of New Vienna; one sister, Mrs. Henry Wilkin of Newark; 26 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday afternoon and evening. Tuesday afternoon, the body will be at the late residence.
