Marvin married three times and had three daughters (one named Marla) by his second wife. The love of his life was Kim to whom he was affianced at the time of his death.
Marvin Paul, died at the early age of 50 from complications due to his exposure to Agent Orange in the Vietnam War. Ironically, his father Calvin had suffered Rheumatic Fever while serving in the Navy which weakened his heart and led to his early death at the age of 52.
