Eleanor worked for the US Navy during WWII, in an administrative office at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. In later years she worked as a secretary in the art department at Ciba-Geigy in Ardsley for over 15 years. After retirement, she became an active member of the Senior Troop 7 at St. Marks Church in Yonkers. A devout parishioner of St Anthony's Church in Yonkers. She enjoyed travelling very much and supporter of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Williamsburg, VA. Among her travels, she enjoyed the Hawaiian Islands and Ireland the most.
She was a mother of two and the grandmother of two.
