Providence, Utah: Evan LeRoy Brown, 68, died September 16, 2003 in Logan, Utah. He was born December 19, 1934 in Logan, Utah to Evan Clyde and Carmen Elizabeth Bench Brown. HE married Elizabeth Campbell on July 22, 1954 in the Logan LDS Temple.

He was the owner of Evan Brown Trucking Company. He had lived in Hyrum, Logan and Providence, Utah. He was an angel among us, always willing to help those in need. He was a modern day Samaritan and served his whole life making others happy.

He was the President of Mutton Conductors Elite. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth C. Brown, Providence, Utah; two sons and two daughters, Kevin Roy (Brenda Lynn) Brown, Nibley, Utah; David Lee (Elke Miller) Brown, Hyrum, Utah; Lisa Ann (Bruce) Miller, Mendon, Utah; Mary Jo (Roger) Dahle, Providence, Utah; 12 grandchildren; one brother and three sisters, Jack A. (Trudy) Brown, Hyrum, Utah; Colleen (Devon) Peterson, Preston, Idaho; Carol (Wendell) Johnson, Logan, Utah; and Pamela (Brent) Biggs, Franklin, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jerry C. Brown; brothers-in-law, Kay R. Campbell and Charles F. Maxwell.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 20, 2003 in the Providence 2, 9, & 12th Ward Chapel, 309 South Main, Providence with Bishop Albert Beazer conducting.. Family and friends may call at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street, Logan on Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. and at the Church on Saturday from 11:30-12:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Providence Cemetery.
