Leon G. Ende, of 1003 Acorn Drive, died Wednesday, Jan. 14 in Holland Community Hospital following a short illness.
He was born in Hamilton and lived in Holland most of his life. Before retiring he worked for Grand Haven Stamped Products Co and later for Ottawa Savings and Loan. He was a member of First Reformed Church.
Surviving are his wife, Marie; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Karen) Brandsen and Mrs. Herm (Jeanne) DeJong, Jr., both of Holland, five grandchildren, a great-grandchild; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Bernard (Ethel) Ende and Mrs. Dennis (Ruth) Ende, both of Holland; and a brother-in-law, Robert Klomparens of Holland.
Services will be held at 1pm Friday at First Reformed Church with the Rev. Vernon VanDerWerff and the Rev. Lynn Post officiating. Relatives will meet at 12:45. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
Calling hours at Dykstra Nortwood Chapel are 7 to 9 this evening.
