Greg farmed for many years, followed by working at Oscar Mayer and Co. in Madison until his retirement. Dad loved nothing better than spending a summer day in the garden and chopping firewood in the fall. In his later years with children and grandchildren, he reminisced about his farming years.
Greg leaves behind his wife of 68 years, two sons, six daughters, four sons-in-law, and 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by three sons, Ronald, Raymond and David; and nine siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial followed in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
