DIED-Herman SCHLICHTING, aged 75 years, died last night of heart failure at his home in Lake Linden. He was an employed as a carpenter
of the Calumet and Hecla Rolling mills in Lake Linden since 1867. He was born in Hamburg, Germany but has been a resident of Lake Linden
for a long number of years. He leaves a wife and eight children to mourn him - Mrs Malcolm GILLIS; Bernard SCHLICHTING; and Miss Lillie, all 3 of Butte, Montana; Albert of Ouray, Colorado; Miss Alma of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; Waldemore; Miss Minnie and Reinhard, all 3 of Lake Linden. The funeral will be held at the home of the family. Burial will be at Forest Hill cemetery, Houghton.
