Andrew P. Lux died at his home on Locust Ave., Saturday morning, April 19, after an illness of about two years. Mr. Lux was born April 2, 1879 at Perryville, Missouri and was 73 years old. He came to this vicinity when a young man and farmed for many years in the Chute 16 neighborhood.
He is survived by three sons, Lester and Ralph Lux of this city and Orval Lux of Little Prairie, a nephew, Charles Lux of this city (who had made his home with Mr. Lux since he was a young boy) also a brother, Henry W. Lux of Marquand, Missouri. His wife died in May of 1951.
Funeral services were held at the LaForge Undertaking Company chapel Sunday afternoon at two o'clock, with the Rev. Floyd V. Brower in charge. Burial was in Little Prairie Cemetery.
