Born in Cairo, Egypt, he was a son of the late Abdel M. Abdou Rizk and Aida Rizk.
Mr. Abdou was a retired technician with Michelin and was a board member of St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Antoine Abdou and his wife, Leigh, of Florence; a brother, Medhat and his wife, Dr. Nancy Adbou, of Toronto; and a sister, Dr. Mervat and her husband, Dr. Cherif Makram, of Monticello, N.Y.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005, at noon at St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
