Alvena Grace Stieb, 57, of Iliff, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2001 in Iliff. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8, at E.S. French Hall, Corsberg Theater, at Northeastern Junior College with Blaine Malmedal officiating. Inturnment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Stieb was born on Nov. 14, 1943 to Emory and Elsie (Kanzler) Roeder in Sterling. She was a cosmetologist.
She liked spending time with family and friends, taking family car rides to look at crops and different houses. She liked to cook and bake. She enjoyed her grandchildren and life on the farm.She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Mrs. Stieb is survived by three daughters, Deon Kloberdanz of Sterling, Marti Ramirez and husband Manuel of Sedgwick, and Shelly Raffaeli and husband David of Iliff; a son, Jim Hruska of Iliff; three sisters, Ella Mae Nation and Carl Stratton of Sterling, Shirley Bohler of Sterling and Doris New of Sylmar, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Kenny Roeder. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alvena Stieb Memorial Fund.
