Annie Izzard 70, formerly of Litchfield,
passed away Sunday, Januray 30, 2005,
at Battle Creek Health Systems. She was
born Feb.10, 1934 in Virgie Kentucky,
to Lonza and Maxie (Casebolt) Burke.
On June 11, 1974 she married John
Izzard; He preceded her in death in
1986. Annie came to Michigan in 1952
and was the owner and operator of the
Ginko Tree Care Home in Litchfield
since 1991. She enjoyed hunting, fishing
and photography.
Suvivors include sister, Fontella Man;
brothers, Grover, Lonza, Garner and
Craig.
She was preceded in death by her parents,
Lonza and Maxie (Casebolt) Burke; her
husband John Izzard; brothers, Orville,
Dempsey, Nolan and Jerrel; and one sister
Patsy ( Burke) Bryant; grandparents, Andrew
Jackson and Martha (Elswick) Casebolt; Duran
and Elizabeth "Lockie" (Tackett) Burke.
