He graduated from St. Bonaventure High School in 1962 and then graduated from UNL with a degree in accounting. David married Karen Wellman on April 30, 1966 at Ss. Peter & Paul Church in Howells. He lived in Omaha, Norfolk, Central City and was currently living in Kearney where he was working as a sales representative for Ag Dryer Services in Elm Creek. He was a member of the Knight of Columbus in Norfolk. David enjoyed NASCAR, Husker Football, traveling, cooking and spending time with his grandchildren.
