James Kara Pepper, 72, died at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson on June 6, 1984. Funeral services were held Friday, June 8 at 2 P.M. from the Wise Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hershel Wiygul and Rev. Gerald Gammill officiating with burial in the North Union Cemetery at Bellefontaine with Wise Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers were: Herman Pepper, Clovis Pepper, George Pepper, Stanley Pepper, Bill Sisson, and Everette pepper.

Mr. Pepper was born in Webster County. He was a farmer and member of the Bellefontaine Methodist Church.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Nellie McKee Pepper of Eupora, two daughters, Mrs. Billie Lyn Chrismond and Mrs. Jane Love both of Eupora, three sons, James Robert Pepper, Jimmy Allen Pepper and Kara Wayne Pepper all of Eupora. Three sisters; Mrs. Wilma Shaw of Bellfontaine, Mrs. Nettie Hitt also of Bellefontaine and Mrs. Sarah McPhail of Slate Springs, one brother, Hal M. Pepper of Eupora, seven grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
