Felix A. Bieniek, 74 year old resident of Swanville, MN died Monday, June 13 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 :30 AM on Thursday, June 16 at St. Johns Catholic Church in Swanville, MN with Rev. Arlie Sowada officiating. Burial will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, MN. Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Wednesday, June 15 at the church and from 9:30 until the hour of service at the church on Thursday. Parish prayers will be said at 7 PM on Wednesday evening at the church. Military Rites will be conducted by the Bowlus American Legion.

Felix A. Bieniek was born November 1, 1930 in Opole, Brockway Township, Minnesota to the late Victor and Julia (Kuklok)Bieniek. After his schooling, He enlisted in The United State Navy serving during the Korean Conflict from 1951 until 1959.

He was united in marriage to Mildred Stumpf on May 30, 1956 in Pierz, MN. The couple made their home in St. Cloud, MN from 1956 until moving to Sartell, MN in 1966 residing there until 1983. During his time in St. Cloud, MN, Felix worked at Roebel's as a Meat Cutter. The couple moved to Bowlus, MN in 1983. They owned and operated Bowlus Liquor and worked at Vision-Ease Optical in St. Cloud, MN. Felix and Mildred moved to Swanville, MN 1995 where they resided at the time of his death.

Felix enjoyed hunting, fishing, bird watching, camping and traveling to Mexico with Mildred.

He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Swanville, MN, Opole VFW and the Bowlus American Legion.

Felix is survived by his wife, Mildred of Swanville, MN; children, Jim Bieniek and wife, Kim, of St. Stephen, MN, Diane Sobania and husband, Pat, of Holdingford, MN, Wayne Bieniek and wife, Renee, of Bowlus, MN, Dorine Pietrick and husband, Rick, of Bowlus, MN and Sharon Brady and husband, Urabn, of Bowlus, MN; Siblings, Berniece Yamry and husband, Alphonse of Opole, MN, Marlene Symalla and husband, Dennis, of Stillwater, MN, Vicky Carlson and husband, Don, of St. Francis, MN, Claude Bieniek and wife, Josephine, of Anoka, MN, Leander Bieniek and wife, Louise, of Holdingford, MN, Ludger Bieniek and wife, Carol, of St. Cloud, MN, Marcel Bieniek and wife, Kathy, of Sartell, MN, Victor Bieniek and wife, Bonnie, of Little Falls, MN, Shirley Bieniek of St. Cloud. 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Celestine and Ernest Bieniek.
