Romie Fink was born July 31, 1922, in Eden Valley to Alex and Katherine (Radermacher) Fink. He married Adeline Nohner Sept. 17, 1946, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Eden Valley. He lived most of his married life in St. Cloud. He worked for the St. Cloud school district and retired in 1986
Romie was a member of St. John Cantius Catholic Church, Eagles Aerie #622, Catholic Order of Foresters, and Knights of Columbus Council 961.
Romie was a eucharistic minister, cross-bearer, usher, and general maintenance man at St. John Cantius Catholic Church. He delivered communion to the home-bound every Sunday, and did other volunteer activities. His favorite pasttimes were were playing cribbage, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Adeline; children Ron (and Kathy) of Sauk Rapids; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters Elvira DeMorett, Natalie (and Bernard) Niewind, Tony (and Mary), John (and Ruth), and Richard (and Katherine).
Romie was preceded in death by his parents; son David in 2006; infant brother Kenneth, and brother Leopold.
