Louisa Bernard Schwerin, 83, died at her Portland home Monday, after being a resident of West Linn for 36 years. She was the widow of the late Samuel Schwerin. She was born in Berlin,. Germany, April 30, 1860 and came to the United States when 3 years old. She was a gold star mother.
Survivors include two sons, Albert of Portland and Frank of Los Angeles; two daughters, Mrs. Louise Bradley of Willamette, and Mrs. Mahlon Snidow; four sisters in Ohio and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Holman and Hankins Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon. Internment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery.
