Robert "Bob" Weeks, age 67 of St. Michael, died Sunday, October 7, 2007 at his home.

Robert was born on February 25, 1940 in Minneapolis to Julius and Marie Gladys (nee Leeson) Weeks. Bob was raised in Buffalo and graduated with the Class of ™58. As a young boy, his singing talents were recognized in the community. He was frequently requested to perform at many community events and won many singing competitions throughout the area. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and often was called upon to be a soloist in the church choir. He attended the MacPhail Center for Music in Minneapolis and, as a young man, sang professionally for weddings and funerals. He worked for the City of Buffalo in many departments and as a lineman. He was instrumental in the development of the Buffalo Municipal Airport. He was a pilot and belonged to the Delta Aviation Club of Buffalo. He was also an avid horseman. Bob married Marie Tenney in the early 60™s and they had four children. In 1965, Bob started his career in the furniture department of Montgomery Wards in St. Paul. He managed both the Robbinsdale and St. Paul stores and became their top salesman. He retired in 1995. However, his life™s mission was realized through Trinity Chapel, which he began constructing in the early 80™s for the public to use as a prayer and meditation chapel. On October 22, 1988, Bob and Nancy Scheibe were wed at the chapel. After their marriage and during his retirement years, the chapel developed into a full time occupation serving and comforting many visitors from all over the world. The chapel is always open, welcoming visitors day or night. In addition to being a refuge for those in need, the chapel has been used for marriages, baptisms, and renewals of vows. He enjoyed personal ministry of counseling which continued until just days before his death.
