Joseph E. Antrim, age 84 of 2510 No. Clarkson in Fremont, died early Tuesday morning, December 4, 1984 in Fremont at the Fremont Hospital. He was born September 14, 1900 in Arlington where he lived his early years. He was in the US Navy from 1942 to 1945. Then at various times he had lived in Arlington and in California where he was employed by Rockwell International. When in Arlington he was employed by Marshall Nurseries and also had been the sexton of the Arlington Cemetery. Mr. Antrim was a longtime member of the Arlington VFW Post 8332. On January 21, 1984, he was married to Karla Berry of Fremont. The funeral service for Mr. Antrim was held at the Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 7. The Rev. Robert P. Hansen of Fremont's First Lutheran Church officiated. Burial, with the US Flag Presentation by VFW Post 8332, was in the Arlington Cemetery. His survivors include his wife, Karla; two sisters, Mrs. Willis (Ruth) Lytle of Fremont and Irma Antrim of Pompano Beach, Florida; and brother, Archie of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
