He was preceded in death by his father, David Lee Rumsey; grandfather, Calvin Rumsey; and grandparents, Eulalia Villarreal and Esequiel Villarreal.
He was survived by his wife, Cindy White Rumsey; mother, Rose Rumsey; grandmother, Ruth Rumsey; children, Allyssa, Chase, Cheyenne, Camryn Rumsey; sisters, Kelly Morphew and Mary Salazar; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
