Edith Barbara Lund Wall, 90, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at her home.


She was born September 1, 1919 on Plantation 14 in Machias, Maine, the daughter of Horatio Nelson and Annie Mae Worrell Lund.


Edith married Lynn Allen Wall on October 13, 1943 in Portland, Maine. He preceded her in death on December 27, 1984.


She traveled extensively with her husband while he was stationed in the Navy. They moved to Clearfield, Utah in 1946.


She was an active member of the LDS Church and served for many years in the primary and library.


Edith worked as a waitress at Daisy May and Matties Café in Davis and Weber counties. She worked at the Senior Citizens Center in Clearfield for 11 years.


Edith had a unique stamp collection and coin collection and enjoyed ceramics. She was called Grandma Wall by everyone she knew. She loved children and cared for many.


Surviving are two daughters, Doralee Barnes, Ogden; Joan Peterson, Riverdale; seven grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild expected in February. Also surviving are her brother, Maurice Lund and sister, Mary Campbell, both of Maine.


Preceded in death by her parents, 13 siblings, husband, one granddaughter, and one great-granddaughter.


Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist's Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 South State Street. Friends and family may call on Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
Interment: Clearfield City Cemetery.
