Daniel E. Chauvin, 77, of 134 Vanderbilt Road, widower of Eva Fregeau Chauvin, died Thursday evening (April 28, 1977) at Bristol Hospital after a short illness.

Born Nov. 21, 1899. in Fall River, Mass., he had been a resident of Bristol for 50 years and prior to retiring 12 years previous, was employed at New Departure-Hyatt for 38 years. He was a member of St. Ann Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Bell City Aerie 1511 of Bristol.

He was survived by two daughters, Mrs. Doris Murawski of Terryville and Miss Pauline Chauvin of Bristol; a sister, Miss Rose Chauvin of Fall River, Mass.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held Monday (May 2, 1977) at 8:30 a.m. from the Duhaime Funeral Home, 250 West St., to St. Ann Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30. Burial was at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol.
