BERNARD BEERMAN


Bernard (Ben) Beerman, 85, a former Dubuquer, died at 5 p.m. Friday at the home of his daughters, Mrs. Edward Nichols and Miss Rose Beerman, Chicago, Ill.


Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday at the Strueber Funeral Home, from where funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday to Holy Ghost Church. Burial will be at Guttenberg, Ia. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday.


Mr. Beerman was born June 27, 1869, at Glen Haven, Wis. He was a resident of Dubuque for 18 years, and had lived in Chicago the past 20 years. He was a member of St. Sylvester's Church and its Holy Name Society in Chicago.


Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Edward Nichols, Mrs. Berl Koenig, Mrs. Arnold Logelia and Miss Rose Beerman, all of Chicago; three sons, John Beerman, Dubuque, and Harry and Clarence Beerman, Chicago, and one sister, Mrs. Hagge, Spokane, Wash.
