Angelis Dimitrios Haralambous of Wilmington died Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

He was born March 6, 1914 in Nestani, Greece son of the late Demitri Haralambous and Konstantina Liapis Haralambous and was preceded in death by his wife Ekaterini Letsos Haralambous.

Surviving are his children Konstantina "Dena" Poulos, Vasili Haralambous, Dimitra Terezopoulos and husband Polixroni, Irini Haralambous and Maria Spyropoulos and husband Gus, a sister, Sotiria Bolos, twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, October 24, 2009 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at 6:30 pm Friday October 23, 2009 with a Trisagion Service at 7pm at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel.
