She was a retired employee from AMP and owned Maryellen's Ceramic Studio. and was a member of the Camp Hill Church of God.
Maryellen was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Simpson and her brother, Melvin Kramer.
She is survived by 2 sons, Cam Simpson of Camp Hill and Mark Simpson of Camp Hill; a daughter, Valerie Hammacher of Camp Hill; 6 brothers, Bob, Lew, Kervin and Clyde Kramer, all of Camp Hill, Hank and Dick Kramer of Enola; 1 sister, Donna Dawkins of Saginaw, MI; 4 grandchildren, Lisa and Marianne Simpson, Chris and Derek Hammacher; and 1 great-granddaughter, Audrina Hammacher.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday at the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, Camp Hill, with the Rev. Richard F. Shover officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park.
