Miss Grace Lynch Dosdall was born at Zumbro Falls, Minn. on April 30,1881 to Henry and Helen Lynch. She spent the first 18 years and 10 months of her life on the farm there, where she was united in marriage to Henry M. Dosdall February 28, 1900. He also was from Zumbro Falls.

Five children were born to this couple. Henry A. of Starbuck, George E.of Morris, Edith Helen Olson of Mpls., Ted (E.L.) of Hancock and Glen I. of Hancock. Also a little girl they took to raise, who is now Mrs. Linda (Guy) Spurlin of Cloquet.

Mrs. Dosdall received her education at Zumbro Falls. She was a member of the Evangelical Free Church of Hancock and a member of the Missionary Society of her church and a member of the Hodges Sewing Club.

She came to Hancock as a bride in 1900 and resided on the farm ever since with the exception of 3 1/2 years they resided in Morris, as they lived so far from school, on the farm.
