MRS. MAGGIE E. MYERS
Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie Ellen Myers, 66, a resident of Rt. 1, Box 147, Ocean Springs, who died at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday at Howard Memorial Hospital in Biloxi where she had been a patient for 10 days, will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday from the LaRue Baptist Church in Jackson County.
Rev. Wayne Myers will officiate, with interment in LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the church after 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Mrs. Myers was born in Jackson County and was a lifelong resident of the county. She was a member of the LaRue Baptist Church and Eastern Star Daisy Vestry Chapter No 421.
Survivors include her husband, William E. Myers; three sons, O.C. Myers and William L. Myers, both of Ocean Springs, and Clyde Myers of Texarkana, Ark.; four daughters, Mrs. Ruby Watson of Biloxi, Mrs. Doris Parker and Mrs. Clara Parker, both of Ocean Springs, and Mrs. Karrine McCullar of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; five brothers, Mack Wilson; Eddie Wilson, Tollie Wilson and Pat Wilson, all of Ocean Springs, and Leo Wilson of Biloxi; one half-sister, Mrs. Evonne Galles of Biloxi; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home of Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
