She was a 1948 graduate of Strong Vincent School, a member of St. George Church. She enjoyed reading and gardening and caring for her family. In addition to her parents, she was perceded in death by sisters Anna Caretti, Mary Fronzaglia, and Joann Stankowicz.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Norman I. Grode, two sons, Timothy Grode and his wife Mary, of Erie,
and Jeffery Grode of Baltimore Md., and a daughter, Diane Durnell and her husband James of Atlanta, Ga., and 10 grandchildren
