NORTH CODORUS TWP. Clark E. Meckley, 77, passed away Friday, June 30, 2006, at his residence. He was the husband of Betty J. (Walker) Meckley. Mr. Meckley was born on September 8, 1928, in Springfield Twp., to the late Harry and Mamie A. (Leader) Meckley. He was employed by the former Cole Steel Co. for 40 years, as an electro-static paint operator, retiring in 1990. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Jacobus. Clark loved hunting, fishing, and playing baseball for many years in the old Southern York County Baseball League. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Clark Meckley, Jr. and his wife, Mary Ann of Dover; Marty Meckley of York; and Tim Meckley and his wife, Laurie of Stewartstown, five grandchildren, Krystal Poslucci and her husband, Paul, Alicia Almoney and her husband, Rick, Cory Meckley, Carla Pyfer, and Gary Pyfer; three greatgrandchildren; and one brother, Raymond Meckley of York. There will be a viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Robert M. Goodling Funeral Service, 62 Main St., Seven Valleys. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. with his pastor, the Rev. Ray Hatcher, officiating. His final resting place will be in Salem Union Cemetery, Jacobus.
